The 2020-2021 Huliauapaʻa AmeriCorps Program focused on building the capacity of ʻāina-stewarding non-profit organizations and other agencies to care for our wahi kūpuna. Nine haumāna worked full-time at partner wahi  throughout the paeʻāina. Participants worked on programs and initiatives to enhance volunteerism and community engagement and received training from Huliauapaʻa in culturally-grounded, place-based resource stewardship.
